Massage therapist moves office to New Paltz

NEW PALTZ — Bodymind Massage Therapy has relocated to a new space in the Professional Offices at Water Street Market.

Bodymind Massage has also updated its Web site, www.bodymindmassagetherapy

.com, and has started to offer new services, such as a 15-minute session.

Bodymind Massage Therapy was established in 2003 in by Helen Gutfreund, who began her career in bodywork in 1996.

How Young is Too Young to Get a Massage?

This little cheeky monkey was getting the benefits of massage therapy in utero as her mom got sessions at least once a month (and more frequently as time went by) while she was pregnant.

She's one cool and relatively mellow kid, I'm told, and I like to think I had a little something to do with that!

Mom and dad still come regularly for massage sessions, acknowledging how beneficial the therapy is for daily aches and pains associated with baby raising like sore shoulders, arms and backs, as well as how good it is for stress relief and relaxation for those who aren't necessarily getting all the sleep or restful moments they should.

Oh - and she has some awesome taste in bib fashion, if I do say so myself!

At the bottom of the hill, you will see Water Street Market on your left. Turn left after the Market on to Water Street. If you go over the green trestle bridge, you've gone too far. Turn left in to the parking lot and follow it all the way around the back of the Market.
